Jaragua Games is a one-person studio making solo tabletop games. This is a small site with a small purpose, so here is the whole policy in plain terms — no fine print, no dark patterns.
The short version
If you sign the launch register, we keep your name and email for one reason: to tell you when a Jaragua game goes live. We never sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone, and we don't send filler. Leave whenever you like.
What we collect
- Your name and email — only if you submit the register on the home page. We use them to send launch announcements (starting with THE UNDERVAULTS on Kickstarter) and, if the demo ever asks for one, to issue your access code. That's it.
- Ordinary server logs — our host, Netlify, processes standard request logs (IP address, browser) to serve the page and stop abuse. We don't build profiles from them.
Cookies & tracking
None. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad scripts. The playable demo lives on a separate site and keeps your progress in your own browser — nothing about your play comes back to us.
Where it's kept
Register entries are stored by Netlify Forms on our behalf. If we ever email you, we'll use a mail provider whose only job is delivering that message. Demo access codes are generated on the fly and aren't kept in any database.
Leaving the list
Every announcement includes a one-click way out, and you can always write to hello@jaraguagames.com to be removed or to ask what we hold about you — we'll sort it the same day we see it.
Contact
Questions, a demo code that won't cooperate, press, or just want to say hello: hello@jaraguagames.com. For a Kickstarter pledge, the campaign's own messaging is fastest, but we answer here too.
